Twelve Churches was initiated and incorporated to support the churches in Nicaragua by working with and equipping pastors and their congregations to better bring people into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
HISTORY
The vision of Twelve Churches ministry was born during a mission trip to Leon, Nicaragua in October 2008. One of the opportunities that had been presented to the mission team was to visit with and encourage pastors from the local area.
Through conversations with the local pastors, God placed a heavy burden on these missionaries hearts regarding both the immense work that He was doing through the local church, and, moreover, how the pastors and their churches could further multiply God's kingdom with increased encouragement, training, and other forms of supportive resources.
Through prayer and conversation, the missionary team met with twelve pastors of different denominations that could be greatly encouraged through such ministry. The mission team was blessed to meet a talented and gifted pastor with a heart for pastoral mentorship. The result was the birthing of a new ministry to further God's love in and throughout Leon.
